In Boston, Schneider was the three-day reporter on special assignments who reported on entertainment and lifestyle. Prior to joining WB56, she was employed as a weekend forecaster at WFOR-TV Miami. She held various reports and meteorology roles in News 12 Long Island - a 24-hour news cable network along with WXII TV - an NBC affiliate station in Winston-Salem. She was also a regular guest on The Saturday Early Show, she worked as a meteorologist for CBS in New York City.
